Juré Duté

After living in Chicago for 17 years, and being eligible to vote here for 14 years, the County of Cook has finally tracked me down: I've been issued my first jury summons. I'm actually kind of excited. I'm sure that will pass very quickly, but having never been called before, my head is still filled with all kinds of exciting scenarios about doing my civic duty. I should have brought a copy of 12 Angry Men to read.
